(Those yellow shoodies are pretty sweet.)
Parking at Applewood Knolls (Friday). Applewood Knolls lot is for coaches and officials only. Please park at Applewood Baptist Church which is one block east of the pool on 32nd Avenue. No parking allowed on 32nd avenue.
-Parking at Splash (Saturday and Sunday). We need to make sure there is ample parking for the patrons of Splash. Coaches need to strongly encourage everyone to drop their kids off and park in the Laramie parking lot. Coaches can park in the lower lot. If there aren’t enough parking spaces for the patrons, we will have to stop the meet and make people move their cars. (Friday parking can use both lots.)
-Tents. No large circus tents. Pop-ups only. Non-Foothills teams can enter Splash at 4:30 on Friday and 5:30 Saturday and Sunday.
-Deck. We can not have families camped out on the deck. Each team will be responsible for making sure their families are complying. This also goes for the grass area between the Guard office and the Slides.
-Issues. Any facility problems need to go through the Golden Marlins coach Ryan Adams. Please try to avoid going to the Splash Staff.
Splash is a City of Golden Aquatics center not the Golden Marlin’s pool. Splash needs to be available to the citizens of Golden. We are lucky that we can host large meets there because it is a huge strain on them. Everyone needs to understand this and we all need to make sure we are doing our best to make it run smoothly.

2022 Summer Season
The CSSCSA Bylaws will govern over the 2022 summer season. Swimmers must be 18 years old or younger to compete. 19 year old swimmers are not eligible to compete for teams in the 2022 season.
The May 15th birthday and non-scholastic team participation rules will apply to the 2022 Season.
From the bylaws – Section H: Eligibility and Exclusions
1) A swimmer’s age and gender as of May 15 each season shall determine the age group and gender in which he/she competes that season. For clarification, please refer to the following three examples: a) If a swimmer’s 11th birthday is on May 14, then that swimmer competes in the 11–12 age group. b) If a swimmer’s 11th birthday is on May 15, then that swimmer competes in the 11–12 age group. c) If a swimmer’s 11th birthday is on May 16, then that swimmer competes in the 9–10 age group.
2) On or after May 16, a swimmer may practice only with their summer club swim team and compete only in their summer club swim team’s meets in order to be eligible. To clarify, a swimmer may NOT practice or compete for another summer club team, a year-round team, etc. on or after May 16. Notwithstanding the above, a swimmer may practice or compete on or after May 16 interscholastically or intercollegiately without losing eligibility. A swimmer may swim in a charity type event with the permission of the state board. A swimmer may not switch teams within CSSCSA on or after May 16.
